Arabba, at 1612 meters, is in the heart of the Dolomites, where snow is never missing. Our valley offers a very long winter season, from December to April
Arabba is in the cradle of the dolomites, surrounded by ski runs perfectly groomed on a daily basis and suitable for all levels. Arabba connects the four Ladin valleys around the Sella Group (Arabba, Alta Badia, Val Gardena, Val di Fassa) the famous Sella Ronda that connects in a single area all 500 km of ski runs, comfortably accessible with one skipass, the Dolomites Superskipass.
Every day brings a new possibility to explore different ski runs that traverse from one valley to another, to stop at a new hut or refuge and to enjoy a different cuisine: Venetian, Trentino and Tyrolean.
Have you ever thought of the excitement of walking in the moonlight, in the middle of a snow-carpeted forest with snowshoes that crunch the crystallized ground, leaving behind a path of your own footsteps? Snowshoeing in search of wild animal tracks, enjoying nature’s silence, discovering the charm of an abandoned alpine hut where perfumes of the past cradle you into relaxation – all of these experiences are possible when snowshoeing in the Dolomites.
Discover the winter landscape as you ski tour on skis with skins, and enjoy the tranquility of the extending winter panorama. Feel enveloped by the silence in the midst of nature: an indescribable feeling!
For those who enjoy snowboarding, Snowpark Belvedere is 3 lifts away, at an altitude of 2,150 meters and a length of 350 meters.
Arabba has a snowmobile course, where you will be able to experience the thrill of driving on snow or participate in excursion tours at night.
Furthermore, descents with a snowmobile are reminiscent of a motorcycle, but on the snow. The fresh air and roar of the engines will make you go back up and down the snow-covered slopes of our splendid Dolomites again and again.
For a special evening at high altitudes, a dinner in a mountain hut is the classic icing on the cake: arrive by snowmobile or climbing skins. Once dinner is finished, if desired based on typical products of the Ladino tradition, you can return to Arabba with skis, with a slide, with a snowmobile, or by foot under the stars.
